I like to fix things, or attempt to anyway. I'm more experienced with mechanical repair, though I've worked on alarm clocks, phones, and more simple circuitry. I plan on going into the field of engineering in college, either mechanical or applied. My main repair projects recently have been my mostly homemade electric scooter that breaks every other time I use it, and my cheap 2011 Volkswagen Jetta TDI that leaks oil and smells like roadkill.
Occasionally, parts need to be replaced, and I may be able to make them myself. Other times I just feel like making something by itself, for example I started creating a miniature functional lawn mower over the summer. I have a 3D printer with a laser cutter/engraver attachment, which lets my ideas take shape.
I tend to run out of ideas with music and only half-finish writing my own songs, someday I'll find the motivation to continue them. I've played Piano since I was 6 and Guitar since I was 9 and took lessons up until Sophomore year of high school when I felt I had gotten to the point where I didn't need a teacher. That said, since stopping lessons I haven't had much incentive to practice.
